Synopsis

Carbon Copyis in no way, shape or form a shimmering comic drama, yet nor is it the uneasy melange of racial generalizations that it may have been. George Segal plays a rich white Californian who out of the blue discovers that he has a 17-year-old dark child, a revelation that may well have been the event for blood vessel breakage, twofold takes and an exceptionally expansive and dopey brand of comic drama.
